This would have been understandable if they were busy or if we had a warning, but when we asked how much longer our food would be we were told it’s coming now (waited another 15 minutes) when we received our food we got Luke warm waffles and hard eggs. Little bit disappointed that we were not offered a discount or anything. Lucky we had a grab one voucher. This is one of our favourite cafes too

Had brunch here last time round on the weekend, I still remembered the delectable hotcake that I had.. a really beautiful place at the edge of the city, this time we only came past for coffees and got to sit on the upstairs level which was something new for us..

I love coming here for breakfast. The egg bene is amazing! I've only had one average experience with Florentine that tasted a bit fishy. The coffee could be better. The atmosphere is hard to beat! A cute little revamped movie cinema with vintage decor. I'll definitely be coming back.

Nice cafe in the centre of Upper Hutt set in an old movie theatre.
Always always always get the Hast Stack here for brunch, it is absolutely delicious and great for those who love an eggs benny and also hash browns, simple and delicious and eggs always cooked properly too (no half cooked eggs here!)
Great coffee as well as friendly staff.
