We've been coming here for years, and will continue to for many more! Don't let the dated decor fool you, if you're in the area, this is somewhere you'll want to stop in at for a quick bite. The food quality for a takeaway is top notch, especially the chips (if you're from Upper Hutt you'll distinctly recognise the "Gerry's" seasoning), chicken, potatoes, and desserts. Sometimes if you order enough, you get a few lucky extras. The drink deals are reasonable too- 2x 1.5s for $5. Always very clean, and tidy, in the kitchen and eatery areas. Great service every time.

Gerry’s Charcoal Chicken consistently serve great food. I’ve had their roast lamb meals on many occasions and the portions are really decent for the money you pay. The staff are also always friendly and accommodating. I’ve also recently ordered catering for an event from Gerry’s and it was good value for money and all our guests were raving about the food. I’ll definitely be back.
