Countdown Supermarkets

Popped in to pick up a few items and I was impressed with cleanliness, tidiness and presentation of store...customer service was great...plenty of spacious parking...great selection of fresh fruit and veges...will be back for sure

Popped in for a few items with my 4-year old, who decided he desperately needed to use the loo.
The key which is usually behind the help counter was lost, and another key belonging to a staff member wouldn't open the toilet door. With my desperately needing the loo, the staff member took us upstairs to the staff room where there is a toilet (for staff only.)
I know we're not allowed up there so I am really grateful for my boy, thank you!
Fingers crossed that key shows up...

Its a big clean tidy supermarket. Has a nice bakery department. But unless you find stuff on special i find it a bit pricey.

Enjoy shopping here. It's small enough to know where everything is, the meat quality is good and the Gege selection pretty good also.
Prices are a bit steep on the fresh veg at times...
Other than that, quite happy with it.
