Mills Reef Winery & Restaurant

Beautiful setting, Lovely Food, Awesome wine. Such a fabulous spot in summer to sit outside and wander around. Just lovely. Will be back again.

Had a wonderful lunch here recently and were impressed again by the food, setting and staff. I had the duck salad which was really tasty, my partner had the chicken and slaw burger which was also declared great! We had dessert as well, for me Inwas in heaven as I love passion fruit and had the passion fruit and yoghurt cheesecake, which came with divine passion fruit sorbet! Enjoyed and food and the setting is lovely, staff friendly, knowledgeable and professional, really recommend a visit. We will definitely return!

The food and wine was fabulous but we knew that before our wedding (everyone should know this already so we don't need to say more). What was really a highlight for us was the people. The crew on the day at Mills Reef were AMAZING! So many of our guests commented on how "taken care" of they felt - from being offered special vegetarian plates, to the many pregnant ladies being regularly checked up on for juices & teas, to them holding a meal for one of my guests who had to take his father to get medical attention unexpectedly - everyone was so professional & thoughtful...probably even pre-empting our thoughts/wishes!! Thank you Mills Reef.

Love the food here!
Its somewhere that you don't normally think about going for a lunch of dinner....everyone normally thinks of main Tauranga or Mount....but this is WELL worth the booking and visit! GREAT wine (obviously!) and good good food! AND not overpriced like other wineries.
