Lava Glass - Glass Blowing.Gallery.Cafe

Fascinating to watch the glass blowing. The guided talk and show is really interesting and from an artist's point of view great to see the skilled craftsperson at work. Love the shop with glass works beautifully displayed. I could take the lot home! Then the cafe... wonderful food and coffee. Well worth a couple of hours here.

What an unexpected treat. Very fresh, the cabinet food was very well presented. The nachos were crispy and very tasty and the Quesadillas were generous and very fulfilling. Coffee was also nice and just a very relaxing venue to sit back and enjoy the sun. They have concerts and other events there. Would imagine that it would be very nice to sit back with a glass of wine and just chill while nibbling on some tasty food.

Lovely cafe out of the hubbub in Taupo central. Plenty of off the rad parking. Meals delicious and filling.plenty of seating inside and outside. Also bonus of looking at the glass work after eating

Very casual setting, food was good, staff were nice. It has a really cool glass blowing shop attached to the cafe which is cool to look at! Be careful with children though as it’s expensive stuff! Also if you want to watch the glass being blown it costs.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Taupo. The guys are super friendly and they make a strong cup of coffee. Usually I find that flavored lattes are too sweet or don't have enough coffee flavor, but I go in every morning for an iced rose latte and it keeps me charged all day.

All of their other drinks are worth trying too. surprisingly refreshing! They have a good selection of pastries and sandwiches up for grabs too.

Their service is great and super fast, the lady served us was very friendly and bubbly. coffees were priced very reasonably and affordable.

I loved my experience here and i will be happy to recommend this place to anyone
