Rajesh (The restaurant owner) comes from a small place in India, known as Garhwal in Uttarakhand in the far north of India. As Garhwal is such a small place he created the restaurant Mini India referring to the mini size of his home town. For our menu and opening ours please see our website or give us a call.

Good balance between meat and gravy. Fairly extensive menu - all the normal favourites but nothing 'different'. Prices were good. The restaurant itself lack any real atmosphere - there to eat really.

Really enjoyed our meal out at Mini India in Taumarumui. Really tasty Lamb Vindaloo and Dahl Makhani. Great service. Great value

Yummy Country Fried Chicken. Very clean with an A rating. Yet to eat in and have a curry but it smells great as you walk by.
