Springfield Store & Cafe (2004) Ltd

We will be travelling to the South Island shortly and will most definitely be avoiding this place at all costs after seeing how they treat paying customers. Do they even realize that they would not be in business without their customers!? Incredibly stupid.

We went here after it was all over the news about the rudest staff in NZ and was disappointed, it was not a nice looking place, looked dirty and there was no food in the cabinets, a bird was stuck in there and the staff member was swearing at it,was funny but not somewhere id want to eat!

Bought a pie and cup of coffee at this cafe today and best pie and coffee ever and service very friendly. Would definitely visit again. Thanks guys

Wouldn't return or recommend to others, staff acted as if they would rather be elsewhere. Not many options in way of food and the place had an over all dirty feel to it

The food was fresh, tasty and served with a smile. The (I assume) owner was very pleasant and chatty and not at all as described in many of the other reviews. I would certainly be calling back again when we are next driving past. No complaints from our family and all of the customers in the cafe seemed pretty content with their food as well.
