Springfield Store & Cafe (2004) Ltd

We will be travelling to the South Island shortly and will most definitely be avoiding this place at all costs after seeing how they treat paying customers. Do they even realize that they would not be in business without their customers!? Incredibly stupid.

stopped here in our travels as we were hungry and not sure if we would get another chance for awhile. they have the rudest most foul mouthed staff, i thaught maybe they were just having a bad day but after seeing others reviews it seems this is the norm for them. disgusted at the way they speak to children. left still hungry because after 20min our basic order of 2x hot chips wasnt ready still. worst place ever. do not visit. unfortunatly i have to give 1/2 star but even they dont deserve that

Nice staff and no complaints on my cup of tea but I feel that the building and cafe lacks so much potential. As one of the last eateries before heading up to the ski fields, it could be made in to an awesome spot to stop off on the way.

Good friendly service, good food

I have to agree with the other terrible reviews, sorry. This place shouldn't be in busy - rude and slow service (we didn't get our food after 30 minutes either!!) and no care taken with hygiene or decor. Don't come here, they should sell up and let a better operator take over.
