Te Puka Tavern

Delicious food, great and friendly owners, camping for a small fee out the front. Historic town and beach nearby.

We stayed at a family Bach right next door to Te Puka Tavern, so we were treated to the warm hospitality and delicious food at their restaurant.

I loved their raw fish and pan fried Tarakihi as did the rest of our party with their own meals. Highly recommended!

Great tavern absoulete water front to beach. We stayed in motel unit was like new, big and spacious. Meals at tavern was excellent value, great service and great hospitality.

If you’re coming through tokomaru bay you should definitely go here. Lovely pub food and burgers. If you’re sitting outside you get a great view. Nice dining
