Great natural wonder. Hopefully the price would lessen, but hey, if that’s what it takes for conservation well done, im all support

It was great to see some thermal sights however the geyser was not very impressive, it was expensive and very crowded

Some amazing natural beauty is hiding here, and there's always more to see than you have time for. I was taken by the stark beauty of the landscape - like walking on another world almost - and especially the Artists Palette and Champagne Pools. Well worth visiting the bubbling mudpools up the road a bit, but I was greatly disappointed to see that the famous Lady Knox Geyser no longer fires off naturally, instead needing a park operative to dump chemicals into it to catalyse a reaction - which is how they can make it fire off on cue.
Not the best value for money, it is still an amazing place to visit and quite photogenic. Amazing to see how the wildlife has adapted to thrive in a naturally-toxic, sulphur-rich environment.

I spent half a day here and the pools were amazing and bright coloured, the tracks were well-maintained and there were plenty of informative signs up about the mineral contents of the pools which was interesting. The cafe also has plenty of tasty options and more than enough seating
