John Dillon BayVets

Business is about relationships, Yellow is one of these relationships.

BayVets currently consists of 3 clinics; Edgecumbe, Whakataneand Kawerau with an agency in Opotiki (Lowes Hire and Engineering). Originally part of the Rangitaiki Plains Dairy Company, they employed their first Vet Clinic in 1923. Following the Edgecumbe earthquakes in 1987, they decided to split the Vet side of the business away from the Dairy Company and BayVets was formed.

It’s one of the largest privately-owned Vet practices serving Bay of Plenty, offering high-quality veterinary care, complimented by a range of animal health products to their rural and urban clients.

John Dillon is the Business Manager for the company. He’s been there for 19 years and it is apparent that he is passionate about business, serving their clients well and supporting their staff in a good work environment. Working alongside John is Travis Baxter, their Senior Vet and one of the Directors of the company. Travis has been at BayVets for 15 years, working with both large animal clients (farmer clients) and companion animal owners.

Providing the best for their clients and staff, including their animals is crucial for both John and Travis. Their relationship with Yellow started approximately 30 years ago and plays a big part in their business success. Yellow has provided BayVets with a medium to connect with clients through a local and regional directory.

Working with Yellow has been flexible and efficient. For both John and Travis, business has always been about good relationships at all levels, both internal and external. Working with Yellow has succeeded their business relationship and marketing expectations.
