Things are in flux, and your customers need to know what’s happening with your business during this time. We’ve got a few different ways to deliver updates to your audience, so you can cover all the bases and keep customers across any changes.
First port of call. You will be one of many Covid-19 related emails in your customers’ inbox, but that’s for good reason – it’s effective, and it’s where people go to for information. Customers can also search your name in their inbox, so be there when they look for you.
Updated more regularly than websites, customers will check your page for new information on where your business is at. To make sure visitors don’t miss your post, use the “Pin” function in the top right corner of your post. It will keep the post at the top of your page until you unpin it.
Your website
Your loyal customers may go straight to your website, so a great place to share your message on the page that gets the most visitors on your site. For most websites, this will be the homepage.
Most customers won’t have your website link saved on their device, so naturally they turn to their preferred place to search. Make sure your Google My Business description & opening hours communicate your availability during the stage 4 lockdown.
Google My Business also has a ‘posts’ feature which allows you to show your latest business updates with people searching for you on Google search & Google Maps.
