The Sugar Club

For my first much anticipated visit to The Sugar Club, I was taken aback when exiting the Sky lift to the spectacular panoramic views of our beautiful city alight as we walked through the chic gold and walnut coloured decor.

We were warmly greeted by our server who was highly attentive and engaging. I absolutely adored all of my dishes: Spiny crayfish saffron linguine followed by the apple and pear suckling pig, finished off with a peanut butter rhubarb dessert. The combination of texture and flavours of beautifully fresh local NZ produce was simply heavenly and harmonious on the palate!

I was quite captivated by the wine selection as well as complementary opening rustic breads, amuse bouche and palate cleanser.

The Sugar Club is a must visit. I'd love to try other savoury dishes following this highly memorable and stunning dining experience not to mention a culinary adventure!

Great quality of food. Love their dishes, enjoyed my dinner here. We chose 5 course meal and it was a great selection as we all shared around and we tried the whole menu. Staff are nice and friendly.

What can I say - once in a lifetime opportunity. Food was yummy with some unusual dishes. Portion sizes were good and we left feeling full. Staff were friendly but professional. Definitely a treat.

The views are as amazing as the food. Much more inventive dishes than the restaurant one floor down. Do note that they do smallish plates rather than a small entree and large mains.
