      Póg Mahone's, New Zealand’s most authentic Irish pub, opened in its lakefront location in the heart of Queenstown in 1998 and quickly became a Queenstown icon. The Kiwi and Irish owners wanted to create an authentic Irish atmosphere and so designed and built the pub in Ireland itself then shipped it lock, stock and barrel to New Zealand. At Pógs you can enjoy a lively mix of modern and Celtic music (including regular trad sessions), friendly service and be warmed by open fires in both bars.       good place to grab a pint after work with mates. they have a good selection of drinks just like a normal Irish pub. good pub style food at a filling size! perfect place to stop off on the way back from the slopes

      Really enjoyed the mulled wine. Very nice on a cold evening. We recommended this place by a local and did not disappoint! The service was friendly and we all had a really nice time.

      Definitely a good experience, the stone grill cooks in front of you at your table, I didn’t even click when I ordered the Monday special. Sauce a bit scarce but the meal was delicious. If you’re a cave man this place is for you. Fairly young demographic whilst we were here. Wine was nice staff were excellent. Highly recommend!

      we were suggested to come in and try a old pie and boy oh boy was that a fantastic decision. It was very devine. the wait staff were all very cheerful and helpful. they offer some great stouts as well. Briliant night out
