Flame Bar & Grill

Flame is one of my favorite restaurants. Excellent service, excellent food and very affordable prices.

The food was great and the staff were friendly.

Located on the beach street this place is a must visit for the serious foodie. I went with my mate and ordered ribs, the sea food platter, a lobster and a spinach beet salad (and yes we polished off all of it) the ribs were tender and juicy ... The salad was good, the sea food platter was great and so was the lobster(wish it had more meat though) the best for the both of us were the mussels. It was a brilliant dinning experience and a must for anyone who's into grills and seafood. Just remember to give em a call and book before hand.

The staff were kind and attentive, the cocktails were out of this world. Their steak is the best I’ve ever tasted and their well renowned mushroom sauce is the likes I’ve never tasted before and I could just sit there with a spoon and eat it as is. I highly recommend Flame if you want to experience NZ beef
