Lone Star Cafe and Bar Palmerston North

The style is really cool with a western/cowboy theme and the meals are huge but they’re very inconsistent. The chicken meal was nice but fish meal was not fresh and was not nice, the staff are very friendly but the place is extremely loud. The bar up stairs is also good but is limited for space

I want to love this place with the layout but the service and food is terrible. I have had a few bad experiences and will not return. Fresh fish of the day was slime and stunk from the kitchen, crammed into the seats at tables, it would be better if they took 1/2 tables out and created more flow so you don’t have to move every time a waiter comes by

Great place to bring the family,meals were great quality and kids meal was very big portion,friendly staff

Huge meals, great variety of options and always happy to modify meals.

Always great service, and has a number of gluten free & paleo options :-)
