Alpine Motel and Backpackers Lodge

Nice clean rooms, there is a lot of parking and plenty of warmth during the winter. The price was really good and i recommend this place to everyone who is heading up the mountain.

Stayed with a few friends here and it was just what we needed. The place was comfortable and affordable and close to all the places we wanted to visit around Ohakune.

Highly recommend this accommodation if you want to head up to Ruapehu for a ski. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of blankets to shield you from the cold.

Nice backpackers, it has comfortable beds and there are wash rooms you can do your laundry. Meet some hilarious people there and the place is nice and close to the mountain.

Great place to stay, very clean affordable accomodation, nice Thai restaurant attached which serves takeaways as well, hot tub a bonus, and only 5 mins walking distance to town
