###Peggy Celtic Bistro is the home of good food, Guinness, and good Craic in New Plymouth. They have an outside dining and a large outside entertainment area next to the bar where you can enjoy comfortable outside dining. It has 7 international tap beers and 13 tap beers in total, Including Guinness, Kilkenny, Boddington, Stella Artois, Beck, Issac Cider, Speights Old, Canterbury Draught, Speights, Summit Lager, Tennents & London Pride. __Our food ranges from snacks and sides to main meals, steak selection and desserts. You can try one of our famous Beef & Guinness Pie's or Irish Stews.__ Just walk in or give us a call for reservations.

It has a nice environment, but nothing really special and outstanding - its missing the Irish pub vibe. However, it has good service.

Great pub! Love the range of whisky and the atmosphere of the place, the food is ok but it's bar food not fine cuisine, staff are brilliant very friendly.

this place has an amazing atmosphere and I met here with a few friends and we ordered drinks and food, I was so pleased with the service and the short wait time. Also so satisfied with the prices I paid. I loved coming here and I really do look forward to my next visit!

Use to a really awesome Irish / Celtic bar with good entertainment and wonderful staff Sadly since the renovation it lost that wonderful Celtic feel about the place.

Saturday nights are a good one here! Live band and small dance floor make for a good atmosphere and fun night. Good selection behind the bar including cocktails, Guinness and even Scotlands’s finest soft drink, ‘Irn Bru’ (the only bar in New Plymouth you can buy this!). Staff are generally friendly and efficient. Real mixture of customers of different age ranges.
