Countdown Supermarkets

This business appears clean, tidy and well managed. The floor area is accessible. Itmes are generally placed within reach but help is required for all above chair height items. The on floor staff usually appear too busy to help and somewhat tired. Checkout staff are entirely different. They seem friendly, real and helpful.

What I like about the Countdown stores is their customer service. Recently I bought a leg of lamb that was clearly 'off' (smell was gross). It was well within the sell-by-date so the lamb was replaced and the money refunded too! The store opens until late at night so often drop in then when it's quieter. Lots of specials.

Much better than the Napier and Hastings Countdowns. It is so huge! And it stocks almost everything. Very impressed
