Had an amazing dinner here for our anniversary. Strongly recommend dry aged 58 day rib-eye, juicy and tender, so yum! And the clams, the sauce is the key for the dish, must try as well. Duck fat potato and cos salad are good match to this meal. Nice restaurant and very lovely people. Will definitely visit again if we come down to Christchurch..

Beautiful menu the steak was well cooked as I asked the salad was fresh and fhe portion size was impressive the wedges were crisp and seasoned well price was very reasonable and authentic decor good location handy to town

I ordered the regular rib eye while my colleague ordered the aged T-bone. My rib eye was delicious, cooked to perfection with my red wine sauce. His T-bone was sooooo gooood, wow that aged taste was amazing.
We ordered the duck fat potato’s and cos salad, the salad was yum but the potatoes were not good, they tasted oily and the oil/fat tasted old.

Haven is a roomy, rustic cafe conveniently located near central station. I had the brunch bowl with a poached egg which was a good refreshing mix. However, I feel that the dish would have benefited from a thin sauce to tie all elements together better. Otherwise, I praise Haven for having a very affordable brunch menu and great service.

A fine dining steakhouse is no better way to put it! The tomahawk steak to share between 2 was my personal favourite, bring an appetite.
