Breakers Cafe & Bar

Went there with my partner for his birthday and my newborn son, made a booking via phone. They were so nice and had put a little highchair there even though he was too young to use it, I thought that was quite nice. Very family friendly, and even in the bathrooms they had a baby changing area. It was very busy, but considering the amount of people in there, our food came out in a timely manner. Would have been 5 stars unfortunately They had overcooked my partners medium-rare steak. Still, they took the plate back abd come out with another one that was perfect! Our waiter was very accommodating, checking up on us to make sure we were okay. Overall we had an enjoyable experience, and even though my baby screamed his head off, staff there were compassionate. Thanks breakers!

Great burgers they offer. Really like the outdoor sittings.

Breakers Napier has a large premises so there’s usually always a table. Booking isn’t usually necessary unless you have a large group. They have a great kids area so good for families with young children. Also there’s always parking out the back in their private car park.

Great location. was nice to sit outside for lunch near the sea. The burgers were great, and nice shakes as well.

We called in for lunch. The pork belly was amazing and so were the ribs. We added a nice glass of wine and relaxed .
