The Smoking Barrel

Best donuts here!! We will travel from Nelson (half an hour) to get them. Always such a wonderful selection and they do a good coffee too. Can sometimes be quite busy and the queue can be a bit long and goes through the middle of the cafe so a bit of a pain for people coming and going

Great place for a quick bite to eat. My husband and I were on holiday in Motueka, and went here for dinner and drinks. Loved the atmosphere, and the burgers and beers were really nice. Just what we needed after a long day of sightseeing!

I highly recommend a visit to this cafe for breakfast, I had the nicest bacon and eggs there, the staff are great and the donut selection is mind boggling, I am very impressed with this cafe and will surely be returning

Such good food and coffee. Love this place. Smoked meat dishes are so delicious and donuts could get addictive. Love the cool quirky range of flavours they’ve come up with. Well worth a visit. Service is great, really made to feel welcome and valued.

Don't leave without trying one of the donuts! These are amazing as are the slow cooked meat dishes. Funky atmosphere and prompt service
