The Topiary Cafe

Couldn't get booking for mothers day cos I left it too late so went on Saturday instead. Staff are so helpful. Meal was beautifully plated. Meal was beautiful we couldn't eat all of it.

The outdoor seating by the lake is stunning and the perfect place for a relaxing lunch. The waiting staff are friendly, professional and add to the whole experience. The food was lovely and I have zero complaints. This is a wonderful cafe and intend to return!

Mosgiel lays claim to some pretty awesome cafes and restaurants but this is something special! Set within Wal's plant and fun land it's the perfect spot for any occasion. The food is excellent both from the menu and the cabinets but personally, I love catching up with a friend over the Allpress coffee. The staff are very friendly and helpful & it's always great to see families enjoying the atmosphere - plenty of space and interest for children.
There are times when it gets quite busy & noisy - particularly lunchtimes, end of the week & weekends, but that's easy to schedule around or, weather permitting, take in the views & atmosphere from the outdoor seating.
I love browsing the plants at Wal's before or after visiting the cafe - such a splendid way to spend an afternoon.

The best peanut butter bliss balls melt in your mouth flavour and the iced coffee is thick and creamy with a nice rich flavour and cold tall glass the price is affordable and the service is fast

Clearly, this is a popular venue for the locals who have discovered good food in a brilliant atmosphere. Staff are friendly and accommodating and there is a reasonable selection of food and drinks.
