Podium Cafe

The food and coffee are great. Service can be slow as it gets very busy, but the food is worth the wait. I recommend the “Bowl of Goodness”. It’s a great destination to stretch your legs. There is a very cool kids playground beside the outdoor seating area with loads of space to run. Toilets are very clean!

Love the location and have always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, on our last visit we were let down by the service. We were served by the guy with green glasses, who wasn't friendly and didn't make us feel very welcome. He didn't even come back to our table to ask us about our meals we had ordered.

Delicious coffee, fantastic food, great service. It was very windy,cold and wet on Sunday, thankfully, we were able to get a table inside. The log fire was on in the corner so it felt much more cosy. Lovely service staff, nothing was too much, smiling and helpful. Finally a cafe that serves a wonderful coffee that is not burnt and bitter. Will definitely be back, perhaps on a more sunny day.

Love this cafe! The food is beautifully presented, the coffee is great, the location is amazing. It is situated right next to Lake Karapiro, a beautiful spot.

Service is quick the staff are friendly and the chips were cooked perfectly a generous portion size and nice hot coffee the location is beautiful with amazing veiws
