absolutely amazing place to eat, amazing chefs in the kitchen , the owners are lovely always around working hard , they really look after there customers , the food is amazing does not matter how many people there are the food comes out consistent and delicious every single time i am going through matamata i have to stop and at least have a meal at amazing and iconic place, not just that but the work and the sponsorship the redoubt does for there community is amazing truly, god bless the owners and there team

Loved the inside of Redoubt Bar and Eatery really cool decor. The food tasted great, loved the ox cheek pie and the kids loved the Lord of the Rings themed pizzas.

This is a nice place for a meal, with friendly staff. The pizzas are delicious. They don't have Guinness, but the bar staff did a perfect pour of my Murphy's stout!

great place for a beer and a meal. reasonable prices. Great entertainment and seating arrangements , very friendly service
