Countdown Supermarkets

Countdown Petone, is a large store with huge variety of products including a pharmacy onsite. The staff have always been approachable and very friendly, going out of their way to help. The only negative I have is the path outside the front of the store is always littered with rubbish and there are no rubbish bins outside of the store, this always gives a bad impression when I visit. It is not just Countdown but there are a few other businesses in this 'complex' that I feel should band together to keep this area tidy.

Was about to catch a bus when I remembered I had to pop in here to buy an item. Was relieved that I could find and pay for it quickly so I did not miss my bus.

The best supermarket in Petone.

Lots of free parking and we found the store very large with a huge amount of choice.

There is a lovely meat and fish section as well as a great choice of foreign treats with friendly staff and a great layout to meet all of your needs

Had a young foreign worker go the extra mile this day, made me smile. They didn't have any lemons (Public holidays), but about 10 minutes later he handed me four that he had found :) Nice! He was so helpful too.

Whenever I shop in the Hutt, it’s always here that I do my grocery shop, wide isles and friendly staff make it so easy
