Havelock North New World Supermarket

Nice new layout in store - much more "Open Planned" than previously. Great selection of produce and general items. Everything, for most part, is arranged very well and presented nicely. They have a large car-park (also recently revamped), very knowledgeable/Friendly staff and their meat department has some of the nicest selections of meat you can find. We in-fact usually choose New World Havelock North butchery items/meats over most other stores and/or butcheries. The only negative with this store is the fact that they can be a bit over-priced and you REALLY need to check/double check the prices of what you are buying. Far too often things are mislabeled or (more specifically) "Items on sale/special" are misaligned with the specified/tagged price. Check the shelves carefully and/or check your docket before leaving the car part. Staff are always very helpful and keen to correct any errors.

Overpriced!! this supermarket has a captive clientelle and like to over charge on basic necessities just because they can.

The quality of meat here is really good and the store is always clean and tidy. The checkouts move pretty fast even when busy. A big issue for us that has cropped up more and more over the last month or 2 is the misalignment of price tags and things that have been scanning incorrectly priced. I always use my cludcard.

Could not believe the prices here! They were so expensive! The shop was clean and we'll presented but the isles were cramped as everyone tried to about hitting one another with their trolleys. Big car park
