Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa

Great place to come with the family. Took my kids there for the first time and they keep asking to come back. Lovely staff, super friendly and something there for everyone. Looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic couple of days in hanmer and the pools are just wonderful. There is a new slide and teh cascading pools as well. The spa was divine. Parking isnt bad if you get your timing right.

The thermal pools are definitely worth visiting if you are in Hanmer Springs. They are lovely and relaxing and are family friendly. Although not all pools are suitable for kiddies, there are plenty that are. The entry price is not cheap, but if you plan to stay for a while it is worth it. A photographer goes around the pools taking photos which you can later purchase. Again, the photos are not cheap, but as most people don't do this often it is a good way to remember your visit. As well as the thermal pools, there is a swimming pool and a hydro slide. You can also get spa treatments, although I have not experienced these to be able to rate them. Lockers are available beside the changing rooms (for a small fee) to store your belongings, so you don't need to cart them from pool to pool, and a kiosk is on site in the pool complex to purchase food, drink and ice creams. The changing rooms have always been clean and tidy when we have visited, with showers and hair drying facilities provided. Also available are family change rooms. The attached gift shop at the exit is probably more directed at tourists, but worth a look around nonetheless.

Lovely, relaxing pools in Hanmer. Admission prices are pretty steep these days especially if you’re paying for the water rides as well but if you stay most of the day then you get your monies worth. Pools are clean and well maintained. A must visit if you’re in Hanmer. The spa is very expensive - I have been once but for the cost I wouldn’t go again.
