Waikato District Health Board (DHB) employs over 6500 people and plans, funds and provides hospital and health services to more than 391,770 people in a region covering eight per cent of New Zealand. Waikato DHB, through its provider arm Health Waikato, has hospitals in Hamilton, Thames, Tokoroa, Te Kuiti and Taumarunui. In 2010 I had Mr .Adam L Gamal operate on myself to repair the Mitral valve in my heart and I found myself extremely lucky to have such an awesome surgeon operate on me.
Along with the Nurses in the Heart ward who were excellent. one older nurse ( Margeret )who retired that year but had been on the heart ward for many years.
Now seven years later I am doing good and living a nice life thanks to all at WAIKATO HOSPITAL. I would like to actually be able to speak again to Mr. Adam L Gamal to express my Gratitude to him & his staff for that day.

A very good hospital with caring and professional staff. They have a wide range of facilities and services available for all ages, which is convenient having them all in one place. Parking can be difficult, but not impossible.

Visited my uncle in this hospital - really a top notch facility. Easy to find your way around and easy to get a car park. They were taking really good care of my uncle and made us feel really welcome.

Been coming in here the past few days visiting my Aunty and the nurses and doctors have been so kind and helpful
