EVENT Cinemas Chartwell

We took our two boys to see despicable me 3 today for my sons 4th birthday...All tickets were $10 each due to holidays which was an absolute bargain..Cheaper than any where else. Staff were friendly, Even told us a cheaper option choice for our food.
Well worth the trip from Te Awamutu.

One of the big multiplexes in the regions, this is located in the Chartwell shopping complex, so you don't need to buy the overprices junkfood served at every cinema this side of the black stump. With a huge variety of options available to you in the foodcourt right outside the main entrance, you need only grab a ticket and enjoy the show.
Located across two levels, you can ride the escalators or the lift up to the top floor, making this venue very wheelchair-accessible.
Not the most popular of the cinemas around, this is my cinema of choice when I want to listen to the movie, and not inconsiderate audience members. Plenty of free parking to be had, though sometimes during peak shopping patches it can be tough to find a car park - head for the top parking level for your best chances.

Took 5 kids to movies, got a great deal with mastercard on Wednesday's. Popcorn was fresh. Staff very friendly despite being busy they seemed happy to interact with the excited kids while we ordered

Great cinema, although never seem to be many student deals. Always clean and great toilets and amazing food selection (although quite overpriced food)
