      Awesome range of fabrics and sewing apparel, There has never been a time I have walked out with nothing from this shop. The prices are very competitive with those of the same variety. Shop is very spacious and you can get very much so lost in the midst of it all. The staff are wonderful here and will help out with anything that you may ask of them. Parking is pretty good aswell

      Such an excellent range of fabrics, it has been hard to find Lycra for my daughters leotards but they have a lovely range and awesome prices as well. Nice staff that always like to chat which makes for a lovely atmosphere in-store.

      My daughter and I called into Backstreet Bargains to purchase some material. We were amazed at the variety of material within the small shop. Great specials and lovely friendly staff.
      We will definitely be calling in next time we are in Te Rapa. :-)

      Just ducked in to see if they had any navy lace. The lady was talking to someone else, not sure if it was a customer or a friend as it appeared very casual. After about 7 seconds of me being in the store she asked me if I needed help and if she could help fish through fabrics for me. I told her what I was after and she suggested two that would work well. Saved me a lot of time, even though the factory is small, there is a lot of stuff in there! The only downside is that is didn't appear to be sorted in any particular order, but this wasn't a problem as she was so accommodating and happy to assist.
