Wanaka Transport & Toy Museum

This museum was really cool, good for adults and kids

took the family here on a rainy day and we had a blast. The collection of toys and cars is amazing so much to see! the staff said we could come back for no extra charge on a sunny day to see the outside collection. Was a fun day!!

This museum was fun and I learnt alot

This place was awesome. I took my kids 2 and 4 along and they had fun. So much to look at and also things to ride on. Heaps of collections! Old toys, cars planes, fire truck's, heaps! Toys and real life. Food is abit expensive with pies being the only thing that stood out. Staff are friendly. Definitely somewhere to visit when passing by :-)

Worth checking out if in the Wanaka area, just make sure you go early. There is so much to look at, that you will want to allow at least half a day, if not more. There is a huge collection of old vehicles from cars, to farm equipment, and fire engines. There is also a collection of old military vehicles, and a big range of old toys . It's great for the old and the young. The staff were really friendly, and knew a bit about what was on display.
