Wanaka Transport & Toy Museum

Plenty to look at especially if you are interested in unrestored cars/trucks, and there are plenty of old toys to look at for the kids. And in the shop there are heaps of toys to buy. Plenty of parking.

Took my kids here, they really enjoyed it, especially my 11yr old. A must do in wanaka

There is soooo much to look at in the toy museum. We spent hours checking out the cool old toys and could easily have spent more. The admission is a bit steep. The outside area could use a bit more items as it seems quite bare

Great place to spend a rainy day at! It is a wild mix of everything and everything, but for some reason it works (even for neat / tidy freaks like myself). It's a fun trip down memory lane with collections from Barbie dolls to McDonalds toys to collectable spoons and so so many vehicles! We loved the pedal cars outside too. Great little shop too as well as a cafe
