really good food and cheap and great customer service and all the best Indian dishes and they have cheap mango lassis

My favourite Indian restaurant in town. Very popular for both eat in and takeaway. The staff are friendly and have great customer service. I always go in for the lunch specials which are good value for money. They do a great chicken korma!

The Taj is our favorite Indian restaurant, great for lunches, not quite as good for dinners. The Palak Paneer (vegetarian) and Butter Chicken are my favorites. Excellebt pricing and friendly service. The toilets around the back of the building are a bit less impressive (you have to go out side to what almost feels likea portaloo).

Great restaurant to eat in with authentic indian food , love the options on the menu. Busy with people coming in for take out. The staff were friendly.

I visit Dunedin often and have been looking for an Indian restaurant to visit on a regular basis. The premises were tidy and staff helpful. Not knowing the restaurant I looked for signs of patronage - what impressed me before any food arrived at our table was the amount takeaway orders being picked up - obviously locals! - go good sign.
When the food arrived it was excellent. Good portions and value for money - even better it was byo wine.
