      We love this place! We have been there a number of times over the last year. The new owners are doing the place proud. We have enjoyed lunches and dinner and an engagement party there and also went to the Waitangi BBQ and Beer event . All have been really enjoyable. There is regular live music, a rustic courtyard with a roaring fire and an event room and formal dining room, so there is something and a space for everyone and every occaison. I have enjoyed many dishes esp the pasta and the snack platters (the pork belly is delicious). Emersons and other local/boutique beers and a great selection of wines. Friendly helpful staff and a clean well kept bathroom (which I have found to be a good predictor of service). I can't wait to go again.... see you there.
