Cafe Rue

Cafe Rue is my go to cafe for chocolate brownie and friands... actually make that any of their baking! I went their for dinner a couple of months ago, and another time a year before that, the food was great both times, I ordered the steak, it was cooked perfectly and the wait staff were lovely, I definitely recommend Cafe Rue, try one of their amazing brownies, or three.

Not a great experience sadly. The food was okay, but for the prices I would of expected better. I understand it's going to be more expensive in the heart of the city, but the food really needs to match it, and it didn't. The staff were nice and friendly though, which was something at least.

Great place for lunch or to grab a coffee. Make a great cup. Really nice place everyone is friendly. They make some great snack here that taste delicious and are filled with flavour..

What I had for lunch was delicious but I felt was a bit pricey and more vegetarian options are needed...there are quite a lot of us you know!

The food here isn't very good. Chips were very under-cooked. The prices are high and portions are small so I left feeling pretty ripped off. Probably a better place to come just for an after work drink as the atmosphere and location are good.
