Animates Dunedin

I have found the service provided useful and convenient when I've needed it, however items can be expensive. However, there is a great selection of items to choose from for all types of animals and the staff are friendly.

When they first opened they were AMAZING. They had fantastic knowledgeable staff. Now it is absolutely useless. The previous staff knew about tropical fish and actually had knowledge of their products. The staff members now appear to know next to nothing. Have also had an issue with a $300 product breaking within 30 days of buying it, and they refused to replace or repair it.

Stopped in here to get some coloured fish tank stones for a work project.. they had a few colours which was great as I needed them to differentiate my work. Good to get it done without store hopping and also safe for the fish.

A good place to come and look for all those random things you need for your furry or not so furry friend. The selection is pretty good, a trifle pricy but you get what you pay for.
All domestic kittens they adopt out are through the spca as well as many of their dogs. Good parking and easy to find.

Location is good and so is parking. We got a lead and collar here and felt it was good value for money. The best park are the animals for sale were from the Spca.
