Consistently delicious food and good value for money. Great specials on various nights of the week. Friendly atmosphere.

Eleven of us, six adults, four kids and one inbetweener all enjoyed excellent meals. I had the calamari with a side salad, whilst others enjoyed scallops, pork bao buns, steak, ribs and vegetable salads. Service was brisk and efficient. Every meal was well cooked and nicely presented... well above the level of ‘pub grub’. Superb hot, flavoursome coffees too. Recommended.

Nice outdoor area and friendly staff!

We have visited Brickworks over many years through a few changes in owners. We visited yesterday and ere made very welcome. I had one of the best seafood chowders I have ever eaten. It was creamy thick and packed with seafood. 10 out of 10. My daughter wasn’t very hungry and chose beer battered fry’s. This was a very generous portion easily enough for 2. The were absolutely crunchy and delicious. My husband really enjoyed the wallop dish he ordered. To top it off it was 2 for 1 Tuesday.

Great wee restaurant in a great location right by the hills! Staff are lovely, can get quite busy sometimes but food and drinks are great so that makes up for it
