Decided to try out the $1 dumpling deal and wasn't disappointed! Dumplings are fresh, delicious and served quickly. Make a booking as it is a small little hotspot.

We enjoyed our trip to Sister Kong. We were told they were child friendly and they coped quite well with rambunctious child except that a request to have a simplified bowl of fries and dog was overlooked. I loved the fries and my bao bun. I had a virgin cocktail and it was gorgeous.

This place is still a good, despite some chef changes (happens everywhere). I've been a number of times and it's always changing and innovative, sometimes a little mediocre and sometimes excellent. Great location with various dining options, front, indoors or out the back. I've had great meals here, and average meals .. But will always be positive about this cafe.

It is slightly hard to find for our first time coming here although when we found it we weren't disappointed it's hidden down the back of an alleyway but the food is unreal with soft bao's filled with delicious filling and heaps of sauces.

Sister Kong's is a cool Asian-fusion restaurant tucked down an alleyway on Victoria St. I really loved the food here when they first opened, the bao's were delicious, the sichuan edamame with 7 spices was to die for and the truffle ailoi shoe string fries were totally addictive. Unfortunately, I tried to dine here about a month ago and they had discontinued the fries, and the vegetarian Bao's. The girl at the counter told me they were not a vegetarian-friendly restaurant, which is a shame as the food/staff/decor was all so great last time I visited.
