I hadn't been here for alot of years and it was great to see how much it had grown and that it was .still a fantastic place to spend the day.. It's a great experience for adults and kids alike.

Have been here a couple of times. Probably not the best zoo to go with very young children as the enclosures are quite large and very spaced out so it takes a long time for little legs to get between exhibits and sometimes the animals are hard to see as they are right at the back of their enclosure. Fairly pricey too but understandable given it most be costly caring for the animals and maintaining the zoo.

Great animal experience for a day out, easy layout and can see animals right up close. The zoo does seem a bit tired, but the new great ape enclosure is awesome. Great to see the animals have plenty of space to roam. Would be keen to try the lion encounter next time! Bear in mind the zoo is quite exposed to the weather, theres not much shelter in some places.

The only zoo in Christchurch. It would be nice to see more animals. Nice place to take kids there. It's worth it when it is on special. Plenty of car park
