We both ordered two mains. They were fish of the day and venison . Fish dish had less salt, but still tasty. However, venison were medium rare but burnt from the outside. It was quite disappointed night for us.

This place is usually a steady old warhorse, great food and service and still going strong.
We went there between Xmas and New Year on a sunny day. The staff were doing their best, but were over whelmed.

We arrived and JDV was very busy but staff were very accommodating, we wanted a special meal and we got it. Matt was our waiter/manager for the night and his service could not be faulted. The food was fantastic from the fresh dukha to the pork belly to the dessert complete with moon rocks lol. Extensive wine list with a wide selection available by the glass.Will be back try something else.Recommend.

When my meal came out i wanted to cry because it was so small but actually it was blooming delicious!!! The food here is expensive but worth it. The wine is reasonably priced. Will definitely return

Often come here for brunch as a treat now and then and it never fails to amaze me. Perfect eggs benedict every time I can't fault which is why I keep coming back.
