Such a great place to spend time with your family and friends. Nice ambience with a bunch of friendly staff and great food. Highly recommended.

Friendly service and the best chilli scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! So much flavour - I didn’t even need to season it.
Taken 1 star off only because of noise/poor acoustics - I think sitting outdoors would be better.

Fiddlesticks has been our favourite pub in CHCH since we arrived two years ago. Friendly staff, nice outdoor area for a cold one in the sun, amazing fried chicken and the best fries! Perfect spot for a bit of a people watch too!

Buzzing with caring engaged maître d Keith and waiters Esther and Kellie. Welcoming with various areas to suit the mood or purpose. Engaging waiters fast drinks and subtle coffee. Service was truly hospitable. The food scrambled eggs with herbs and mushrooms and vine ripened tomatoes. The toast and butter were superb. The sum of the parts is greater than the whole. It is on the tram at the Art Gallery stop. Get off here, if you are a stranger in a strange land and you will be entertained as if you had never left. ‘ave

Fiddlesticks is a small centrally located restaurant in the heart of Christchurch, and was a great choice for being my final night in the city. While touring the city seeing the destruction of the earthquakes, I had walked by Fiddlesticks a few times, giving myself a mental note to return and check it out. I’m glad I got the chance.
