Countdown Supermarkets

Great supermarket for all your needs. Top quality meat and produce. The Onecard and points are good too and how you redeem a voucher when you spend so much. Good lay out.

I was around the area and saw that Countdown was having a 2-day sale. Parking was a breeze. Store layout was good making it easy to locate what I needed. I bought some lamb chop at $9.99 per kg and a forzen turkey for $35. That's a steal! There were other items on offer. Staff was polite. Service at check out was fast as there was no queue.

Nice quiet store to shop at however their selection isn't as good as some of the other countdowns

This can be a super busy supermarket, and while parking is plentiful, when it is busy you'll be hard pressed to find a carpark or even a trolley to shop with! A good range of products, produce is usually fresh. Meat and bakery sections can be rather bare. Staff are friendly. Aisles fairly wide.

There are often long waits in the lines here, although I noticed they had every checkout open at Christmas.
