Carlton Hair Corp

Fantastic place to go for kids haircuts. They have a special room dedicated to it, with heaps of toys and books to keep them entertained. The room itself could do with a bit of a re-vamp but otherwise all is great. The hairdressers are lovely people, and great with children. The haircuts look great.

got sprey tanned here for an event, the staff we really proffesional and very friendly, they had made me aware of things i needed to do before my appointment for my skin to be tan ready. i felt nervous to be exposed and tanned for the first time but the staff made the process really easily and not nerve racking. great service from this shop!

I can't recommend Carlton Hair Corp enough, as a mother of an almost 4 year old boy with Autism. Initially, when he first began to get haircuts here, Sheryl even cut his hair while he was asleep on my knee, and when he woke up, managed to smoothly and calmly finish it while moving around with him. Last haircut, I took him to a local salon, for convenience, as I have begun to work. Two traumatising visits later, he still only had half a haircut. I let that grow out for way too long before trying again at the same place. They were only happy to take him, if it was first thing in the morning, and wouldn't take him at all on a saturday, as they said this was when their regulars would be in, and they would not appreciate the inconvenience. Fair enough that we are not their target market, but I felt awful. I called Carlton Hair Corp, and they were able to fit us in on the day. We arrived, and to my relief Archy ran to the toys and played happily while another boy's haircut was being finished. He made his usual loud noises, and had a look around the place, but it was all accepted as 'normal', as the kid's salon is separate from the adults. When it came time for his cut, he wanted to leave, but with the help of Sheryl, a lollipop and my mobile phone, his hair is wonderfully cut, without having to hold my son down as though administering torture! I will not make the mistake of going elsewhere again.

Although lovely staff and a very nice, clean salon, I found the lady who cut my sons hair did not do a good job as she didnt listen to what I was after. Also $20 for a childs haircut is a bit high; more than I spend on my own and this was after being told cheaper when making the booking.

Our 3 year old hates his hair being cut with a passion. He screams from start to finish. RANDALL is amazing and works with us to get it done. We tried othe places but it was impossible. Even though its traumatic we live in hope it will get better and at least our son does not have to look like he was raised by a pack of wild dogs.
