      Located in the George hotel,The restaurant is well decorated with Christmas decorations. Christmas crackers are on tables for Christmas menu. The sirloin we had was cooked to our liking and the chunky hand-cut chips were delicious. The tiger prawn paradelle was so tasty with a twist of crunchy almond too. Would definitely recommend this place and visit again.

      My friend and I had the Lamb which was so delicious. Just melted in your mouth cooked medium rare. Could not fault it. My husband had the duck confit served with potato gratin and green vegetables. We also ordered a side salad. Lovely rocket salad with honey toasted walnuts, finely sliced pear and blue cheese. Vinaigrette dressing.

      Lovely Food and great service. Steak cooked perfectly also the yummy dessert we had. Restaurant is inside the George and in a great location, with north Hagley park just right opposite.
