Twisted Tomato

Had a lovely lunch here. Asian pork belly coleslaw & amazing mushrooms took eggs bene to new heights. Hollandaise had too much going on but the beetroot purée helped even it out. Lovely warm atmosphere and nice staff!

What a great wee local restaurant. Really cute little restaurant, cosy and warm. The menu is fantastic - I had the duck breast which was divine but would recommend getting a side of veges or salad with it as I was still super hungry afterwards. In our party other friends had the lamb (looked amazing), the fish (also looked sensational) and the risotto. The wine list is good, some nice different wines on the list although slightly expensive most of which start at $50-$55 and then continue to head up. All in all - great food, lovely friendly service and I live around the corner, even better!

Today we opted for Lebanese Roll and teriyaki Salmon. no surprise it didn’t disappoint. Portion was generous. Yummy-ness is off the chart Even the salad dressing was divine.

We used to visit Devonport frequently and ate regularly at The Stone Oven. I think Stone Oven has been sold or something because it’s really gone down hill. Anyway we tried Twisted Tomato and really enjoyed it - ordered scones to takeaway (these were delicious) and large cooked breakfast. The latter was good quality and tasty.
