The Good Home Onehunga

Stopped in for lunch on Waitingi day and it was okay. The meal, a burger, was a good size. My daughters meal though was a bit disappointing. She hpad the kids ribs whiclph when it came was 3 dry lookinllg bits of meat that had some bbq sauce squirted out over the top. She didnt wat them and on tasting them they were average at best.

Was given a voucher for this place so went with my wife, son and took my father too. Wasn't greeted on arrival but after a wee while managed to get ourselves a table. Food was actually pretty good, and the staff were friendly. One of the drinks didn't come so we had to ask for it which was a bit disappointing. Overall the place is pretty nice, food is good, but it was all a bit awkward rather than being seamless. Maybe we just went on an off day. Might go back but in no rush to do so.

Cool atmosphere and great range of meals for the kids. They might still do a kids eat free deal on Sundays.

We ventured into The Good Home Onehunga and the grand looking exterior is met with the stylish interior of this former library. With indoor, covered outdoor and outdoor seating, we were looking forward to brunch food after a full on night out.

Service by staff was very prompt and we ordered the mixed mushrooms on toast with scrambled eggs and a Macs soda. The mushrooms could have been better
seasoned to enhance the combination of mixed mushrooms however the eggs were very satisfying. Perhaps other items on the menu may be better. The ambiance and cafe interior was highly impressive.
