Absolutely love Tanuki's Cave, a great experience every time! I would recommend coming in through the back door (if you don't mind climbing a few flights of stairs up the outdoor fire escape) and entering through the kitchen. The chef's always have a moment to greet you before your assigned a number to wait for a space to eat. Wait times vary but it's worth it. Food is superb and you can't go without trying the cabbage and mayo. Great place for a date.

Awesome little place with great food and beer. Watch out for the changing specials menu, always something good there. Only drawback would be the long wait in busy periods. No bookings possible here sorry.

Service here is always great, regardless of how busy! Everyone is always smiling and happy to help. Delicious food!

Good atmosphere and fantastic food! Have been here regularly over the last 5 years and never disappointed :)
