Stardome Observatory & Planetarium

A great place for children and adults to learn about the solar system. It has lots of information boards and things to interact with. I would recommend going to see this if you have never been before.

I went here last here and a nice place as you get to learn about new things and also enjoyable as well and we spent $6 dollar each and was nice and enjoyable to spend the night relaxing over there. I would recommend getting there early as you may have to look for parking if you are late so enjoy the show and use the bookme site to get a deal.

The most magical place ever! The staff are super helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The perfect place to spend a special night under the stars.

Space the final frontier! I visited this place as a kid on school trips and as an adult and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. You have to catch one of shows there where you’ll get a real appreciation of the scale of the universe we live in. Also if you want to inspire a child to pursue science this is the place to go!

I never tire of visiting the Stardome Observatory & Planetarium. The shows they put on are fabulous and you learn so much. The staff are really helpful and will spend time with you, to explain about the night skies. One of Stardome's fundraising projects allows you to buy a star. After I received my ownership papers and celestial map to show me where `my star' is, in space, I ventured down to Auckland to see it through Stardome's telescopes. The staff member was so friendly and was happy to help me find `my star'. Suitable for all ages. Highly recommended.
