Stardome Observatory & Planetarium

A very informative place with lots to learn about.

A one of a kind in Auckland, a must see for kids, adults and tourists alike. Very interesting and fascinating. Situated in One Tree Hill park, so there is plenty of parking, and a playground nearby for kids.

Something different to the normal tourist attractions. Was a fun experience. Wouldn't do it again but my boys seemed to enjoy themselves.

Great place to learn more about our earth and outer space, up-to-date technology, and facilities.

It was my very first visit to Stardome ever and we were attending a Winter Stories Of The Sky Matariki event in the planetarium and I was very impressed by the set up of the place. It was very interactive and it was nice to see visitors of all ages and nationalities in attendance. The event was spectacular being comfortably reclined watching overhead and learning about the wonders of constellations from Greek and Maori perspectives. Our host Tobias was absolutely entertaining and it was fun for everyone so I’m looking forward to visiting again and taking the time to look through the exhibitions next time. Highly recommended!
