Stardome Observatory & Planetarium

Kids loved it and the staff were so great with the kids. It was a great experience. We went for open day, the kids loved the show and they had a great time with the arts n crafts. Queue to get in was very long and could’ve been managed better however that was special occasion so I can understand that

My son is obsessed with space and so this was a great place to visit with him when we were visiting Auckland.

Go early, otherwise you'll struggle to find a park as it can get busy in the weekends. Such a cool place to visit with little ones. Ive got a toddler and primary school aged children, and they absolutely loved it here, especially in the stardome. Its a very sensual place for kids with lots of things to see and touch and learn, even as an adult you can learn something here too. The staff are patient and tolerant of noisy children and kids running around, which is good.

Such a great place to visit! The talk before the star show was astounding! It's so interesting to learn about the stars! Really enjoyed this and would recommend!

We went to Stardom for their special Fathers Day event and Dad did enjoy it - there was a lot of interesting things to do on this day but I wonder if you went too often whether it might become hum drum - well worth our visit though and its location at the Park is perfect for a run around and play afterwards.
